Aiden asked me today, "build a fort?" So we put blankets across between our two beds and I gave him a flashlight to play with which made him ridiculously happy. It was the first time he's never wanted to play independently. He would come in the living room and say, "build a fort with momma?" When I pointed out that I already built him a fort he would take my finger and say "play in the fort with momma?" I was happy to oblige. It makes Scott and I feel pretty good to think this cool little kid wants nothing more than to play with us.
