I knew it was going to be a good trip to Idaho when Scott and I were driving down 17th in Idaho Falls and I saw my old Saturn (complete with the Iceland bumper sticker) in someone's driveway. Try as I did, I couldn't get Scott to turn around so I could take a picture, but we did laugh about it--the check engine light is probably still on in that car.
We had such a good visit with Grandma, she's feisty as ever and so entertaining. I hope Aiden will have as many good memories of that house as I do.
Here he is snuggled under the afghan grandma has laid out to protect the sofa. I swear he thought it was put there just for him--and it was, just not for the purpose he intended.
Aiden woke up in the morning with a fauxhawk, still trying to figure out how that happened--must've been the bath-30 seconds before bed. It didn't take him long to bust into Grandma's candy stash--in true bad boy fashion. Just imagine how happy it would have made him to systematically suck on each piece of candy and then place it back in the can.
Scott and I drove up to Rexburg to visit Kathryn for a few hours. It was so good to drive around and tell stories and listen to music.
Quintessential Rexburg.
I love that as we were driving out of Rexburg the lyrics to the song on the radio were "I miss all the little things... I never thought that they'd mean anything to me." Lot's of good memories there.
Top Twelve Things I Miss about Rexburg:
12 Guitars Unplugged
11 the D.A.R.E. Pt Cruiser
10 Peeps on the dashboard
9 Minnesota Mondays & Taco Bell Tuesdays
8 free cameras from Inkley's
7 the bells on campus, and the cow bell in the dorms
6 laughing at the Retrix girls
5 aerobics at the Hart "JACK IT OUT!" - Camilla
4 Maverick ice cream & Horkley's .50 cent drinks
3 Idaho sunsets
2 living across the street from Porter Park
1 Movies in the car with Scott

Oh Als, thanks for the laugh. THE PT CRUISER!!!! I loved the Top 12 list. Except for one thing you left out :
NUMBER 13 : Being roommates with ME!
You should do a list about the things you don't miss. Like that stupid crow that woke us up every freaking morning at 6am, thus beginning my inability to sleep without a fan.
Those really were good times, we need a reunion.
Allie! It was good to hear from you on facebook... It has been way too long. Isn't it fun to return to Rexburg every once in a while, even if Inkleys isn't in business anymore :). How is everything going?

Hey Girl!
You forgot to add a few things to your Rexburg list.
1. Eating a whole package of saltines for lunch.
2. Trying to get Brother Hammar to let us out of class early.
Ahhh.... memories.
You look gorgeous by the way.
