How was your Christmas? I hope it was filled with home-baked goodies and new sweaters, hot soup and hot chocolate. I hope like me, you were surrounded by amazing gift-givers, people who think about how they want you to feel when you open their gift. I hope you got gifts that made you cry for the thoughtfulness of it all. I hope you felt like you gave those kinds of gifts. And I hope you're sad it's over. Aiden and I took down our tree today and he kept saying, "Christmas is over..." and he sounded like I felt.

I'm so excited for this new year though, lots of fun things around the corner. My boog starts Primary and PRE-SCHOOL next week. He's so excited and I'm a mess-worrying about all the stuff I don't really need to worry about until he starts junior high. Comes with the territory I guess, I'm also 3 months pregnant. We found out a week after we put down a deposit on our new place, it would have been quite fortuitous of us, if we'd had any idea. Instead, just a lovely blessing. Happy, happy New Year!

Some pictures of our month:

Christmas Morning

Aiden's been getting pretty good at his letters lately, he can write about half of them legibly. He was showing Aunt Stephy his new easel and decided to write his name. He wrote the letters in the right order, they just didn't end up that way on the page.
