Is it possible to be very busy and very lazy at the same time? That about sums me up. We're moving again...this week... starting today as a matter of fact. My digestive tract is weary of pop-tarts and cereal and hot dogs and everything else that can be cooked without the luxury of pots and serving spoons. My new mantra is that my life is more than the sum total of the chaos around me. If I say it enough, it'll be true, right?
Scott and I are going to be managing apartments a little further north in the city. We're trading in our backyard for an elevator and Aiden seems to think that's a lateral move. We'll have a park across the street, Scott will have a lawn to take care of, and I'll learn the fine art of vacuuming twice a week, hallways at least. My own apartment will be neglected as usual.
We bagged up our garden, sprinkled grass seed over the exposed worms, and then covered that in a thick layer of sawdust as Scott built me the bookshelves we've needed since our last move. I can't wait to get them into our new place. I'm excited, but mentally exhausted for the changes I know are coming, hopefully a month is enough time to adjust to a new place and job before the baby comes.

You'll be great! It takes some getting used to, but for us it helped a lot to have a good routine and stick with it. Here for example we have to pick up sticks and trash...so every Tues. we do the trash, and every Thurs. we do the sticks. Sometimes things fall through the cracks but nobody is perfect :). I hope that it goes well for you! Good Luck :)
