nora delights my soul to the inmost parts.
she makes a fervant case each day for going outside,
playing in the water, going to the park,
baths, signing time, keys, the ipad, dad, aiden, shoes, milk, books, dancing, coloring,
and looking at pictures on the camera.

playing in the sink at stephy's

bath time

 first time in the sprinklers

she does everthing that aiden does, within 2 seconds of him doing it.
especially yelling.
but especially, especially laughing.

fun on the air mattress with aiden

her dirty looks are quite well known around these parts, and i love em.
sometimes they melt away into a shy smile,
but mostly she's unafraid of hurting people's feelings with them.
i figure it'll be cute until she's at least 2, so we've got a couple weeks still.

her hair is her archest of enemies.
always in her face,
always tangled,
always harboring food-always needing to be washed.
when it comes time for blow-drying, oh my...
she's prostrate and screaming before the dryer is turned on.

 camping at utah lake

 playing with cousins

she's got some dirty dogs by the end of the day,
and when I take off her shoes, she looks at her feet and says "eww."
so i ask her if she wants a wet wipe and she says, "kay."
then all is right with her world again.

cleaning her feet in the car

she sits still for three things, giant sippy cups of chocolate milk,
having her toenails painted, and loud machinery.
all three are just top notch in her book.

 mowing grandma's lawn

trying to swim with the duckies at wheeler farm

she often stops what she's doing and will shimmey back and forth and say, "dancin'."

i'm not saying she's loquacious, but what she lacks in vocab,
she makes up for in utter loudy-ness.

her favorite book is "pinkalicious."
when i read it to her, she interrupts me with, "mom!"
and then tells me what she wants me to know...
"hello," she says as she points to a picture of a phone.
"mom, show," she says for tv.
if i keep reading i get, "mom...  MOM!"
then, "open," as she tries to open a picture of a door.
sometimes, when i pause at the end of a sentance i'm reading, she'll finish it for me.
that was my favorite game with aiden,
and it's my favorite now,
with nora.
