So my little Young Women put on a service project for the ward in the form of a kid's Halloween Carnival/babysitting night. There was probably a 4:1 ratio of kids to adults, but it felt quite a bit more painful than that. It was a very fun night for the kids, lots of games and an insidious amount of sugar. Aiden did as well as could be expected for being surrounded by 35 screaming kids all hopped up on sugar and adrenaline without the undivided attention of his mother. So yeah, he was crying the whole time--which I found out later had more to do with one particular girl who had previously been assaulting Aiden by trying to hug him, constantly, ALL NIGHT. My favorite part of the evening was when Aiden was throwing balls and turned around to see said girl standing right behind him in his personal space. He turned and RAN the entire length of the gym with her outstretched arms flailing behind him. He wasn't safe until I stopped laughing hard enough to pick him up out of her reach. I sincerely wonder which kid will have more problems when they grow up.

That's too funny! You're right though...which one will struggle more? (Let's be honest, probably the girl)
