Halloween last year was so frustrating, wanting Aiden to care that he looked cute, care that he was getting candy for doing absolutely nothing but looking cute, care that there was something even remotely out of the ordinary going on. This year felt like what I had been missing. It took Aiden a while to get the hang of the trick-or-treating but Cole and Stephy were there to show him the ropes. We went to my ward's Trunk-or-Treat which was sure fun. After Aiden and Cole had gone around to all the cars they sat on the curb and Aiden proceded to take every piece of candy from his bag and put it into Cole's. To which Cole responded "Aiden's the best cousin EVER!" Aiden's not above bribery and I tend to encourage it. We got rained out before I could get a picture in front of my trunk, which was pretty creatively decorated with a white blanket complete with a ghost face taped on. It definitely sounds cuter than it looked; but I was glad to cover my trunk with a blanket rather than actually clean it out for the occasion. But I'm forgetting the best part, Aiden was Yoda to Cole's Jango-Fett. If you don't know who that is, insert Cole's dirty look here:
The rain cleared out and we went around Steph's neighborhood for a while. I think Aiden had fun and Cole was very patient with his short-legged companion--the "I'm not going to let some Yoda ruin my Halloween" comment aside.
Scott had to work late so he didn't get to go with us, I was pretty bummed but I promised to take "lot's of good pictures" for him. I was surprised to find out when I got home that there were relatively few pictures and that they were very poor quality. Sad, I know... here they are anyway:

Cole's helping Aiden put on his Light Saber, the wearing of which was short-lived.

Aiden was mezmorized by the noisy floating ghosts in the back of this car. I think they scared the crap out if him, but he didn't cry and he had to be dragged away.

This is just a little while before we left the trunk-or-treat, Aiden's bag is now completely empty.

What a cute little Yoda. Did you teach him the voice?
