1. use the hottest water you can stand to wash dishes
2. sticky notes are invaluable
3. how to bake, well
4. how to cook, well
5. to recognize the difference between Bach, Beethoven, and Vivaldi
6. how to drive defensively
7. to differentiate between weeds and plants
8. to appreciate the difference between Hershey's chocolate and Roger's chocolate
9. how to save money
10. how to research online (too bad I'll still call you with all my ?'s)
11. how to demystify the whipping cream to powdered sugar ratio in the frosting
12. how to understand Shakespeare
13. the definition of the word "remunerate"
14. to follow the spirit, even when it tells you to home-school your kids
15. the importance of serving others, especially when down-hearted
16. raw cookie dough has more calories than cookies (is that really possible?)
17. how to write a check
18. how to clean the kitchen sink
19. to LOVE learning and reading (remember the "book bag?")
20. when life gets out of hand, you probably haven't had enough sleep
21. never buy clothes you don't love
22. close doors quietly, someone, somewhere may be sleeping
23. store chocolate, it can be bartered with in times of need
24. save a piece of your hair when you're young so the hairdresser can match your color later (good for redheads)
25. always clean up while your cooking
