Girl's Camp was the culmination of my busy two weeks, it was a great few days, but don't ask me if it was worth it until next month when I've caught up on my sleep. Other wards there had 20 or so girls and cute little craft projects, we were just happy to have our girls show up.

Camp could be summed up in one word "ninja." This was the game the girls played for hours on end (usually the hours from 8pm to 2am) where they stood in a circle and jumped back making a ninja pose. You hold the pose until the person next to you tries to hit your hand or until you try to hit the person next to you. The entertainment value increased exponentially as the number of players thinned and the pace picked up-that's about when it started looking like a badly choreographed Bruce Lee movie. This was a mother-daughter battle that had us rolling with laughter:

This is another game we're definitely going to play again... A gal from another ward organized a joust for when the priesthood fellas showed up our second night. They rode hobby horses with foam balls velcro-ed to the top and tried to knock the ball from their opponent with a water noodle; also highly entertaining!

This is what happens when you walk away from your camera for a few minutes...

The lodge we stayed at had a giant-sized playground that the girls wouldn't leave unless bribed.

We took this picture after our snipe hunt. I'd say it was a success, at least no one cried. And yes, there's a snipe in the bag.
