If it's alright with everyone, I'm just going to play a little catch up because life has been MAD lately! Almost a month overdue are pictures from our anniversary. Scott's little brother got married a week after our anniversary so we got to go to the Manti Temple 5 years and a week to the day we were married. I even got to wear the temple dress I was married in (which hasn't fit since I was 3 months pregnant with Aiden). Even cooler was that David and Ashley had the same sealer we had and he gave a lot of the same advice to them as he did to us. It was lovely to hear again and be reminded of that day. I occasionally wish... when the gas tank is empty, the house is messy, the phone battery's dead because I've been hours on the phone trying to figure out health insurance, and the only thing my kid's had to eat all day is chocolate milk, a hot dog, and, you guessed it, more chocolate milk... for the simpler days of August 2004 when our biggest concern was finding the perfect couch at D.I. There's a special place in my heart for those Rexburg days, but I wouldn't really go back. But just for fun, I wrote this for Scott for our Anniversary:

I locked my keys in the car when it was still running and you broke into it for me?
We made foil dinners out at R Mountain?

I threw an envelope full of money out of the car window and we spent a half hour looking for it?
I found out you had an electric guitar?
We’d always have to check ourselves for ticks?

I’d play guitar when you were over for FHE to try to impress you?
You went home for Thanksgiving and I missed you like crazy?
I made you go shopping with me for a present for Lori's birthday?
We went to Winger’s on our first date and you thought I was flirting with Isaac?
We said goodbye just before we drove down to Utah in separate cars?
You tied a kite to the car and it flew for hours?
You gave me a Boxcar Racer cd and car air fresheners so my car would be just like yours?
We got your car stuck at the Sand Dunes and Den had to use Woody to pull us out?
We saw each other in the airport over Valentine’s weekend?
You took me out on your motorcycle for the first time?
And you taught me how to drive it?
We went out to the Dunes and I drank so much root beer that I made you do 90mph all the way home so I didn’t pee my pants?
I bought you that sweet West Coast Choppers hoodie at a flea market in Arizona?
You took me up into the mountains for the first time and you proposed to me?
Every time we went someplace beautiful you’d propose again?
We’d kiss at all the stop lights?
We took our bikes up to Mesa Falls and went down to the river?
We bought our first couch at DI?
We tried to find Meadow Lake but found Meadow Canyon instead?
You made me Raman noodles on the trunk of the car?
We finally found Meadow Lake and it snowed over night?
You taught me to drive stick in the Scout?
We sat and watched the potguts out at the farm?
We made wooden boxes together, only mine looked like crap?
You made rebate towers at Inkleys?
We took pictures at the Sculpture Gardens?
You made a snowman outside Bevan’s apartment?
We took pictures of lightning?
We’d use walkie talkies to try to talk while you’d drive to campus?
We bought our first pregnancy test at the dollar store?
We watched Uncle Buck up in the lofthouse?
We’d go to Horkley’s for .60 cent drinks and movies?
We’d talk on the phone till 4 am while I was in Las Vegas?
We read the DaVinci Code together?
We drove down to Utah to buy our first car?
We read Essays on Love together over the phone?
Lori and I came to Gunnison and your family ate all our roadtrip food?
We met at Denny’s in Richfield and had dinner with Lori and Isaac?
I took you to Texas Roadhouse for the first time in Wyoming?
I let you cut my hair then I tried to fix it?
You made a pen holder out of a Dr. Pepper can?
We had a Simpson’s shower curtain and a Harry Potter pillow case?
We had a Christmas toolbox instead of a Christmas tree?
We used to make fun of Scuba Steve hitting on all the girls?
We cooked lunch at green canyon and listened to conference?
You bought me a strawberry plant for my first mother’s day?
